Over the weekend we got Rylee a t-ball set that she refers to as my "t set". This makes me smile, silly girl. Teaching Ry, who is a lefty, how to hold the bat etc. was not as easy as we thought. You really have to think about what you are doing compared to just doing it.
The first few swings didn't go so well, but after a few minutes Ry really got the hang of it. It's so cute watching her choke up on the bat and line her feet up to the plate. Our little slugger in the making. Notice Quinn off to the side, she was waiting for her turn. She is not the most patient waiter, but she did pretty well.
We had Ry do left and then right swings to see what was more comfortable for her. She is a full fledged lefty. Now, to find a glove that is small enough for her little hand. I was told "Mom, how can I play with my t set if I can't catch the ball". Ok, guess we are looking for a glove now.
Our Righty. Quinn is all righty, not an ounce of lefty in her. She did not like it when we tried to have her hit from the left but she wouldn't have any of it.

I do it myself!
