Rylee recently finished her swimming lessons at Osceola Aquatic Center so we thought we would head to the Unity Pool and have Rylee shows us her stuff!

This is Quinnie's first time swimming! We were a little nervous she might scream but she never made a peep- she had a great time splashing around

The one thing Rylee wouldn't do in swimming lessons was jump off the diving board into the deep end, but once she saw it at Unity pool- she asked to go on it.

Ready! Set!

Go!!

She laughed her head off after she got out of the water and jumped off 2 more times before the pool was closing and we headed home!

Lil' Shamrocks!

Rylee and Quinnie got all festive for St. Patrick's Day. Rylee has a party at daycare and Quinny just hung out at home with Daddy!

What a smile!
Ry is all her festive glory!

Cabin Fever!

The winter feels like it is lasting forever and our family definitely has some cabin fever! It is really hard to get outside sometimes, but we were finally able to enjoy some play time in the snow (or what's left of it) on Saturday while Quinnie took a nap.
Rylee and Chris having a toddler-size snowball fight! Not sure which one was the winner!

Almost all of the snow has melted in the front yard as you can see. The only snow left is from the plowing piles. We headed to the back yard behind the big shed to have some fun in the sun! Rylee is a Daddy's girl for sure!!

The first and last snowman of the season! It took all winter long before we had warm enough weather and sticky enough snow to make a snowman. Rylee was super proud of herself!

Since Quinnie missed the fun outside, we had some fun inside! She really loves her saucer and can get pretty crazy in it!

Quinnie is finally willing to sit in her highchair- she knows she is about to eat when she gets put in it. Here she is waiting for some carrots and playing with her favorite toy- a baby doll that crinkles and has all sorts of fun things for Quinnie to chew on!

Where's Dora?!

On Saturday we took Rylee and Quinn to the Mall of America and we went to Nick Universe. Ry was super e3xcited about it, especially when we said that we would get to meet Dora!
The moment we walked into the park we saw Blue, from Blue's Clues and Ry was beaming from ear to ear- can you tell?

Rylee and Diego!

The patient little Butterfly!
After all the fun, we never got to see Dora! I asked a park worker who said that Dora wasn't working that day- WHAT!?!?!?! How could Dora not be there? Fortunately for us, Ry had such a blast on everything else she forgot all about meeting Dora-for now!

Pretty in Pink!

For Christmas this year Rylee got some Fairy wings. Mamma thought it would be cute for Miss Quinnie to show them off.

Peas Please!

Quinnie got her first taste of baby food tonight. As we did with Rylee, we decided to make our own baby food for Quinnie. It's super easy and doesn't take as long as people think. The first food we are trying is green peas, and boy- are they green!

Yummy!!

Despite the look on her face, Quinnie did enjoy the peas. I had to fight her to get the spoon!

catching up on things

Life has been pretty busy around our house. On Monday I started my new job as a full time social worker which I am super excited about. It has been a long road and lots of hard work to get here so it has been pretty rewarding to be working in the field. On Sunday Quinn was baptised our church, Faith Lutheran Church in Balsam Lake and we also celebrated GG's birthday at her apartment. Here are some random pictures from the past few weeks. Enjoy!

Finger Painting in the kitchen! Ry had a blast doing this but good thing Mom stripped her down as she got paint EVERYWHERE!!
